One of the highlights of the 2002 season came in
small Lake County, where finding an appropriate
barn in the mostly-urban county was a challenge.
But alongside a road in Mentor, Northeast
Representative Molly Randal discovered a red barn.
Though obscured by overgrown trees and weeds,
Randal saw possibilities. The barn's refurbishing
became a community project, with companies,
organizations and individuals contributing more
than $20,000 in goods and services.
