Location:
On the grounds of the Oak Island Coast Guard Station, between Caswell Beach and Fort Caswell.
From Southport Go west on NC 211, turn left on NR 133 and go 3.7 miles.Turn left on Caswell Beach Rd. and go 2.5 miles to light.

When built they went 125 feet underground to stabilize the light and in winds of 60 mph or more the light may sway. It is 169 feet tall.
