Records show a Krubs' mill on this site after
1736. It was a 40X80, 1.5 story linestone mill. A
second story was later added by a Eckerling.
Cloister purchased the land in 1741 without mention
of the mill. The mill was last operated by Samuel
Mentzler in 1915 when it started to produce
electricity. In 1970 through the mid 1990s it was
vacant and standing with staging in the front. In
2004 preservation measures have taken place.
Condition - Good
